Rice paper is used for making fresh summer rolls (salad rolls) or fried spring rolls in Vietnamese cuisine, where the rice paper is called bánh tráng or bánh đa nem. Rice Paper can be used to wrap a wide range of fillings. For a fun way to enjoy assemble a selection of vegetables, seafood, minced pork, or chicken so that each person can make the roll to their own taste.
Fill a large bowl with warm water. Soak sheet for about 30 seconds then place on a damp tea towel and use immediately. Place lettuce, vermicelli, prawn, bean sprouts, carrot, and mint on the bottom edge of the rice paper, leaving enough paper to completely cover the ingredients. Fold part of the rice paper over the filling and roll it up firmly, and seal the two ends. Place on serving dish and serve with dipping sauce.
Once opened store in an airtight container.
